The Military Law Enforcement Service confirmed the beating of a soldier and is searching for the UAV operator involved. The victim is in the hospital, and an official investigation into the incident is ongoing.

The Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the beating of a serviceman, a video of which is circulating on social media, and reported that the person involved is being sought. This is stated in an official statement by the MLES, UNN reports.

Military law enforcement officers visited the scene, where they confirmed the fact of the offense. The victim has been identified and promptly transported to a medical facility. He was provided with the necessary assistance, and his health condition is assessed as satisfactory.
The victim's family has also been informed of the incident and the soldier's condition.
Who is involved
According to the MLES, a soldier – a UAV operator of one of the units – was involved in the beating. After the incident, he left the military unit without authorization. An alert for his detention has been issued to the MLES and National Police units. Measures to locate him are currently underway.

By decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an official investigation has been ordered, which is being conducted by the Eastern Territorial Department of the MLES. Upon completion of the investigation, the materials will be handed over to law enforcement agencies for entry into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations and a subsequent legal decision.
