MHP Company has launched its own agrochemical laboratory with unique equipment

MHP is an international company with powerful culinary production, many years of experience in working with food products and high quality standards. One of the areas of expertise of the company is laboratory control, as an important part of its own expert system of quality and safety control. The company's laboratory units conduct about 11,000 studies every day - from checking feed to finished products. In particular, laboratory tests in all areas of agricultural activity. MHP is expanding its expertise in the field of laboratory control and has launched its own agrochemical laboratory. The direction of its activity is soil analysis for a large number of indicators that determine its fertility.

As of now, the agrochemical laboratory employs 17 specialists. These are chemists, analytical chemists and laboratory assistants who conduct research for agricultural enterprises of MHP. In particular:

• determine the chemical composition of the soil and the level of macro- and microelements in it;

• measure the acidity of the soil (pH), which affects the availability of nutrients for plants;

• determine organic matter and humus, which affect soil fertility.

Our company is actively developing the direction of laboratory control, investing in the latest equipment and expanding the scope of laboratories. Thanks to this, we ensure a high level of quality and safety of products at all stages of production. Our laboratories conduct thousands of studies every day, which confirm the compliance of products with the highest standards" - says Olesya Taran, Head of Laboratory Control Department.

All tests are carried out according to domestic and international standards DSTU, EN, ISO. High-quality tests in a short time provide a high level of technical support of the laboratory, automation of many processes and competent personnel. This allows you to have detailed information, optimally use resources and increase productivity. The test results help to more accurately plan crop rotation, apply fertilizers according to the needs of specific crops and soil conditions, and avoid irrational use of resources. And as a result - a good and rich harvest.

Soon the agrochemical laboratory of MHP will expand its scope of activity and will also conduct an assessment of the composition of mineral and organic fertilizers, diagnostics of plant condition and determination of water quality for irrigation. 

In total, MHP has 37 laboratories. The agrochemical laboratory, together with the physical-chemical, veterinary and calibration laboratories, is part of the Laboratory Center in Kyiv. It employs a team of more than 80 people and performs the most complex research. The center conducts more than 500 of the most complex laboratory tests in all areas of agricultural activity: from the analysis of raw materials to the finished product to meet the needs of both internal enterprises of the holding and external customers. The laboratory center is equipped with high-precision equipment, which is available only in a few laboratory centers in Ukraine.
