Former NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov is being considered for the post of Ukraine's new ambassador to Moldova by the Presidential Office.

Former NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov may become Ukraine's new ambassador to Moldova. According to Suspilne, citing sources, his candidacy is being considered by the President's Office, UNN reports.

The day before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy saidthat former NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov "will continue to work on the diplomatic front.

On March 29, Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Mark Shevchenko as Ukraine's ambassador to Moldova. 

On March 26, President Zelenskyy dismissed Oleksiy Danilov from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. Instead, he appointed Oleksandr Lytvynenko as head of the National Security and Defense Council, having previously dismissed him as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. The Foreign Intelligence Service will now be headed by Oleh Ivashchenko, according to Zelenskyy's decree.
