May 9 parade in Moscow to be the most modest in the history of the Russian Federation - CNN
Kyiv • UNN
Due to the threat of drones, there will be no military aircraft at the parade in Moscow. Western media accreditations have been canceled, and mobile communication has been restricted in the city.

The May 9 Victory Day parade in Moscow, which has traditionally been a symbol of Russia's "military greatness," will be held this year in the most modest format in the entire history of the Russian Federation and its predecessor, the Soviet Union. This is reported by UNN with reference to CNN.
Details
The celebration will take place without military equipment on Red Square in Moscow due to the "current operational situation," specifically the threat of Ukrainian drone strikes.
Air defense systems have been deployed in the Russian capital, mobile internet and communications are under restrictions, accreditation for foreign media to cover the parade has been canceled altogether, and the list of foreign guests is more than modest compared to previous years.
At the same time, while more and more people in Russian society are openly speaking about war fatigue, dictator Vladimir Putin is trying to appear as if he is "keeping the situation under control."
As a reminder
At least 15 Russian regions have refused to hold a parade on the occasion of May 9.
Meanwhile, the head of the occupation "administration" of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, also canceled the "Immortal Regiment" and the "Victory Parade" on May 9 in the region this year. The reason cited is the "threat from Ukrainian drones."
