The number of settlements for mandatory evacuation in the Kherson region has been increased to 50. The decision was made due to the intensification of Russian shelling and the growing number of civilian casualties.

Amid constant Russian shelling in the Kherson region, the list of settlements where mandatory evacuation has been announced has been expanded. This was stated by the head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, UNN reports .

Details

Together with the head of the National Police in the Kherson region, Igor Korol, we decided to expand the list of settlements for mandatory evacuation ... In total, 50 settlements located along the Dnipro River

- said the head of the RMA

He noted that these settlements include: Shlyakhove, Tomaryne, Novooleksandrivka, Honcharne, Novodmytrivka, Romashkove, Pershotravneve, Kherson's Hydropark and Naftohavan neighborhoods (along Marine Corps Street and adjacent streets and lanes).

According to him, Russian terror is intensifying, the occupiers are using all available weapons, and they have also intensified the use of drones.

Unfortunately, over the past month, we have recorded twice as many civilian casualties, including children, as a result of enemy strikes... So I ask everyone who remains in communities with a difficult security situation to evacuate. Take care of the lives of children. Give them the opportunity to learn, develop and live in safety

- added the head of RMA.

Recall

Since the beginning of the war, more than 500 children have been evacuated from the border areas of Kharkiv region. As of August 8, 149 children have been evacuated, and 42 more need to be evacuated from the danger zone.
