Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar stated that he hopes to hold a meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berehove, Zakarpattia. Magyar made this statement during a press conference with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, UNN reports.
I told the Prime Minister what the situation with the Hungarian minority looks like, and the creation of the "Tisza" government is a new opportunity between Ukraine and Hungary; we have already informed the Ukrainian side about this and have even begun coordination at the working level regarding the rights of the Hungarian minority, whether linguistic or otherwise, so that they also receive everything that everyone else in the European Union has. I hope that this series of working negotiations will conclude quickly, and as I proposed, I will likely meet with Zelenskyy in Berehove in Zakarpattia, where Hungarians live
