During the first four months of 2026, budgets received UAH 73.5 million in parking fees. This is 12.3% more than last year, with the Odesa region emerging as the leader.

Details
This is 12.3% more than in the same period last year, when revenues amounted to 65.5 million UAH.
The highest revenues from the parking fee were recorded in the following regions:
- Odesa region — 27.1 million UAH;
- Lviv region — 19.5 million UAH;
- Dnipropetrovsk region — 16.7 million UAH;
- Ivano-Frankivsk region — 3.8 million UAH.
The parking fee is paid not by drivers, but by parking operators — legal entities, their branches, and individual entrepreneurs.
The tax base is the area of the land plot allocated for organizing parking, as well as the area of municipal garages, parking lots, and parking structures built with local budget funds.
The fee rates are set by local councils. In 2026, the maximum rate is up to 0.075% of the minimum wage per 1 sq. m of area, or up to 6.49 UAH per square meter.
The growth in revenues signifies an increase in local budget income, as funds from the parking fee remain within the communities and can be directed toward landscaping and the development of road infrastructure.
