Kyiv changes parking rules - new tariffs and "subscription"

From April 27, parking fees in Kyiv will change, and monthly subscriptions for taxpayers will be introduced. A subscription can be obtained through Kyiv Digital.
In Kyiv, starting from April 27, parking tariffs will change at the sites of KP "Kyivtransparkservice". This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, writes UNN.
At the same time, the city is launching a new format - "subscription" or monthly passes for individuals who pay taxes to the city budget. You can subscribe in the Kyiv Digital application from 8:00 on April 27.
It is noted that the cost of hourly parking will be:
- Zone III – 10 UAH/hour;
- Zone II – 30 UAH/hour;
- Zone I – 40 UAH/hour.
Monthly subscription for taxpayers:
- Zone III – 299 UAH;
- Zone II – 999 UAH;
- all zones of Kyiv – 1499 UAH.
According to the Kyiv City State Administration, preferential passes are available to individuals who have taxable income or objects of taxation and pay taxes. These are employees, individual entrepreneurs, owners of movable or immovable property, persons who have other taxable income, as well as working pensioners.
Students can use the subscription only if they have official taxable income.
As noted by the Kyiv City State Administration:
- Taxpayer status can be confirmed in the Kyiv Digital application;
- after verification, the user will be able to issue a monthly subscription;
- the pass will be linked to the car number;
- the inspector will immediately see the payment, so there is no need to start parking additionally.
It is emphasized that one taxpayer can purchase no more than two passes per month without confirming the right to use the car.
Also, the boundaries of parking zones have been updated in Kyiv. The current zone is indicated by information signs.
