Lithuanian company RSI Europe has fulfilled a record contract for FPV drones for Ukraine

Lithuania's RSI Europe has delivered 9,500 Shpak FPV drones in three modifications to Ukraine. The contract allowed the company to triple its production capacity.
Lithuanian defense company RSI Europe has completed its largest-ever contract for the supply of Shpak family FPV drones, the majority of which were received by Ukraine. This was reported by Defense Express with reference to AeroTime, according to UNN.

The deal is a tripartite agreement between RSI Europe, an unnamed trading partner, and the government of the purchasing country. The contract was signed last year and executed within six months. In total, the company delivered 9,500 FPV drones in various modifications, as well as RISE-1 remote detonation systems. Some of the drones were handed over to the purchasing country's army for training, but the bulk was sent to Ukraine.
Three versions of the Shpak were supplied under the agreement. These include the Shpak FH model with FHSS technology for increased resistance to electronic warfare (EW), the fiber-optic Shpak FO, and a version with a thermal imaging camera for night operations. According to the company, the drones can carry a payload of up to 5 kg, fly over 20 km, and reach speeds of up to 150 km/h.
Defense Express notes that this contract allowed RSI Europe to triple its production capacity—from 40,000 to 120,000 drones per year. The company also adapted its drones to meet U.S. NDAA requirements and entered into a partnership with the American firm WGS Systems. RSI Europe was established in 2022 following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and Kyiv received its first Shpak drones as early as 2024.
