Germany and Ukraine discussed providing Ukraine with additional air defense systems to protect against Russian missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure.

The day before, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock. The ministers reviewed the current state of affairs regarding a number of additional air defense systems that could be transferred to Ukraine. UNN reports this with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

During the meeting, Kuleba reportedly expressed Ukraine's gratitude for Germany's decision to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot battery and missiles, as well as for the initiative to search for additional systems around the world.

The Foreign Ministers reviewed the current state of affairs regarding a number of additional air defense systems that could be provided to Ukraine.

"Russian missiles and drones are wreaking havoc on Ukrainian cities and towns, targeting hospitals, schools, energy facilities and residential areas. We must defeat Russian terror, protect human lives and ensure long-term peace in Europe," emphasized Dmytro Kuleba.

Recall

Germany will provide Ukraine with another Patriot air defense system in addition to previously delivered and planned systems to help repel Russian air strikes.
