The Norwegian parliament has increased aid to Ukraine from 1 1.4 billion to 3 3.2 billion in 2024. Part of the funds will be used for the production of Ukrainian drones and air defense systems.

Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with Norwegian prime minister Jonas Gar Stere, during which they discussed cooperation in the field of air defense and weapons production in Ukraine. This was announced by the president of Ukraine in his evening video message, writes UNN.

Zelensky thanked for yesterday's decision of the Norwegian parliament to increase assistance to Ukraine for the next year from 1 1.4 billion to 3 3.2 billion and emphasized its unanimous support by all parliamentary forces. 

Separately, the president noted that part of these funds will go to the Ukrainian production of drones and other weapons.

The leaders also discussed Ukraine's priority needs. Against the background of Russian strikes on the energy infrastructure, these are generators, other power equipment and additional air defense systems.
