President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a report from the meeting of Ukrainian and U.S. negotiators in the United States and stated that it "was substantive" and that the Ukrainian side expects that, as a result, it "will help strengthen our positions," as well as on the humanitarian track regarding the release of people from captivity, as he indicated in his traditional evening address on Friday, UNN reports.
There has already been a report from Rustem Umerov following meetings in America with representatives of the President of the United States – Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. It was substantive. We expect that it will help strengthen our positions. And humanitarian issues – they must be resolved, people must be released from captivity. This is very important. We very much hope that everything will work out
