Iran canceled the fee for vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz for 60 days after an agreement with the United States. The costs of transit processing will be covered by the Iranian government.

Iran will not charge vessels for submitting applications to pass through the Strait of Hormuz for 60 days after the agreement between Tehran and Washington takes effect. This was reported by CNN, citing Iran's Supreme National Security Council, writes UNN.
Details
According to the statement, traffic management through the Strait of Hormuz will be carried out by the Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority (PGSA). The costs of transit processing for two months will be covered by the Iranian government.
In Tehran, they stated that PGSA has been tasked with promptly processing requests for vessel passage through the strait. Iran is also conducting mine clearance of the waterway in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreement.
Vessels must transit according to the routes and schedules communicated to them so that capacity can be gradually increased
Security remains a priority
Iranian authorities note that the restrictions are related to the need to ensure safe vessel movement and prevent maritime incidents after the resumption of navigation through one of the world's key trade arteries.
Additional details regarding the procedure for vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz are to be published by PGSA in the near future.
