Information desks for communication with the subway information center have been launched in the Kyiv metro

Information desks located on the platforms of most Kyiv subway stations now allow passengers to quickly contact the subway information center by pressing a call button to find out about station schedules or to get help for passengers with limited mobility.

From now on , information desks located on the platforms of subway stations are working for prompt communication between passengers and the subway information center. This is reported by UNN with reference to the statement of the Kyiv Metro.

Details

To get information about the subway, you need to press the call button and wait for an employee to respond. Passengers can consult, in particular, on the following issues:

  • mode of operation of the stations;
  • fare payment;
  • fare payment;
  • shelter at stations during an air raid;
  • escorting passengers with reduced mobility;
  • baggage transportation;
  • preferential travel;
  • notification of the discovery of forgotten/left items;
  • request for an ambulance for the passenger;
  •  a station or police officer in case of an emergency, etc.

Information desks are located on the platforms of all subway stations, except for Hidropark, Livoberezhna, Chernihivska, and Lisova stations. At Dnipro and Darnytsia stations, they are located in the lobbies.

It is also noted that the information desks display: a diagram of subway lines, numbering of station exits, a view of the station from the outside, a street map, and information about running ground transportation.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko says that about 40% of the total amount of work on strengthening and repairing the Demiivska metro tunnel has been completed. At the end of the summer, traffic between Demiivska and Lybidska stations may be fully restored
