In Zakarpattia, fire has engulfed 75 hectares of forest. SES aviation and hundreds of rescuers from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions have been involved in the cleanup.
In the Zakarpattia region, aviation has been deployed for the second day to extinguish a large-scale forest fire covering an area of about 75 hectares, UNN reports with reference to the State Emergency Service.
Aviation of the State Emergency Service is being involved in the cleanup of a large-scale fire on the territory of the Verkhnovolovetske forestry. Currently, the total area affected by the fire is about 75 hectares
As reported by the State Emergency Service, 352 people and 48 units of equipment are working on-site, including 96 rescuers and 22 units of SES equipment. Units from the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions have also arrived to help: a total of 59 firefighters and 14 units of equipment.
