As a result of a massive enemy shelling, the number of casualties in Kyiv has risen to 34, including two children. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of another Russian war crime against the civilian population, UNN reports, citing the Kyiv police.

On the night of May 24, Russian troops once again launched a massive combined strike on the capital, using ballistic missiles and attack drones. All districts of Kyiv came under enemy fire. 

Damage was recorded to apartment buildings and private residential houses, administrative buildings, an educational institution, a service station, and parked cars. 

As of 8:10 a.m., one elderly woman is known to have died in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and 34 people were injured, including two children. Information regarding the number of victims continues to be clarified

Investigative and operational groups of the capital's police, explosives experts, rescuers, and medics are working at the sites of strikes and falling debris. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of another Russian war crime against the civilian population.

Earlier, UNN reported that in Kyiv, as a result of a massive Russian missile and drone attack, 21 people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy. One person died in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital.
