Notary assistants in Kyiv certified over 2,000 documents using his electronic digital signature while he was abroad.
Law enforcement officers exposed a notary and three of his assistants who, with his permission, used the notary's digital signature to enter the notary registers of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and certified documents instead. This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, UNN reports .
It was established that a private notary of the Kyiv City Notary District from September 2022 to January 2024 systematically left Ukraine for Poland and stayed abroad for several months,

At the same time, the notary did not want to stop his activities, so he instructed his assistants to perform notarial acts on his behalf using his forms, seal, and digital signature without him.
In total, during the period of the notary's absence in Ukraine, more than 2,000 powers of attorney were issued on his behalf, and numerous contracts, wills, etc. were certified.
Currently, three assistants have been served a notice of suspicion. The notary's whereabouts are being established.
