Specialized teams of the Bulgarian Navy discovered a reconnaissance drone and several of its fragments on beaches near the Black Sea resorts of Primorsko and Lozenets in Bulgaria, BGNES reports, writes UNN.

The military operation was conducted to ensure the safety of tourists and maritime navigation in the area, the publication writes.
The country’s authorities, as stated, "received reports of suspicious debris washed ashore in Primorsko and near the village of Lozenets on Bulgaria’s southern Black Sea coast." Specialists from the country’s Navy examined the objects and determined that they were parts of a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle.
To eliminate any potential risk to the public and shipping, the drone and its fragments were transported to naval bases in Varna and Burgas for further examination. The operation was carried out in accordance with established safety procedures for handling military equipment.
The Bulgarian authorities, as noted, continue to monitor security in the Black Sea.
