Half a million Ukrainians have already received the “winter thousand” through Ukrposhta

4.4 million Ukrainians received UAH 1000 each through Diia and UAH 500 thousand through Ukrposhta as part of the Winter ePay program. 63% of the money spent was spent on utility bills.
More than 4.4 million Ukrainians have already received a thousand hryvnias through Diia and 500 thousand through Ukrposhta. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, reports UNN.
“The Winter eSupport program initiated by the President is being launched. More than 4.4 million Ukrainians have already received a thousand hryvnias through Diia and 500 thousand through Ukrposhta,” Shmyhal said.

In the first days of receiving funds from Winter eHelp, Ukrainians spent UAH 720 million, of which 63% went to utilities. The total number of applications for assistance reached 6.9 million, including 1.9 million for children.
