Grenade explosion by deputy in Zakarpattia: seven injured in serious condition, bomber in intensive care
Seven people injured in a grenade attack by a deputy in a village council building in Zakarpattia are in serious condition. The bomber is also in the intensive care unit of a medical institution. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"According to preliminary data, on December 15, 2023, at about 12:00, the village council session discussed the adoption of the budget for 2024. During the meeting, one of the deputies entered the hall and detonated three grenades," the report said.
It is reported that 26 victims are currently known.
"All of them were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity, seven of them in serious condition. The bomber is also in the intensive care unit of the medical institution," the OGP informs.
As indicated, a pre-trial investigation into the explosion of grenades in the administrative building of the Keretsky village council in Khust district has been launched. The incident is qualified as a terrorist act and illegal handling of ammunition (part 2 of Article 258, part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In Transcarpathia, during a session meeting, one of the deputies of the village council exploded grenades. Grenade explosion by a deputy in Zakarpattia injured 26 people.
As it became known to UNN, the bomber was a deputy from the "Servant of the People" Serhiy Batrin.
