The governor also claims that multi-kilometer traffic jams near gas stations arose due to "artificial hype." According to him, the authorities expect to stabilize the situation within 10-14 days.
The day before, the mayor of Irkutsk promised to install portable toilets near gas stations due to the huge queues that formed because of the fuel shortage.
