General Staff confirms shutdown of Syzran Oil Refinery following strikes

The General Staff confirmed the shutdown of the Syzran Oil Refinery and strikes on control points and UAV warehouses. The 'Niobiy-SV' radar and the 'Yaroslavl' station were also damaged.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on enemy command posts and logistics, and announced confirmation of the shutdown of the Syzran Refinery, UNN reports.

"On May 25 and on the night of May 26, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important objects of the aggressor," the General Staff statement reads.
In particular, according to the General Staff, "an enemy command post (Ocheretyne, Donetsk region) and a regiment control point (Verkhnia Krynytsia, Zaporizhzhia region) were hit." "UAV control points of the occupiers in the areas of Nesterianka in Zaporizhzhia and Novohrodivka in the Donetsk region were also struck. In addition, an enemy UAV warehouse and a logistics warehouse in the area of Novopetrykivka in the Donetsk region, as well as a logistics warehouse in the city of Donetsk, were hit. A railway tank with fuel and lubricants in the area of Debaltseve, Donetsk region, was also struck," the General Staff indicated.
Based on the results of previous strikes, the shutdown of the Syzran Refinery (Syzran, Samara region, RF), which the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit on May 21, 2026, has been confirmed
"Linear production and dispatch station (LPDS) 'Yaroslavl' — hit on May 25 — equipment and tanks were damaged," the General Staff noted.
Furthermore, according to the General Staff, "the strike on May 24 against an enemy 1L125 'Niobi-SV' radar station (Yarsk, Luhansk region) has been confirmed."
