General Staff: 67 combat engagements along the entire frontline, Russians attacking most in the east

On Tuesday, 67 combat engagements took place on the Ukrainian front, with the most intense Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine, particularly in the Novopavlivka and Avdiivka sectors, but Ukrainian troops repelled numerous enemy assaults in seven areas in total.
67 combat engagements took place in the Ukrainian frontline on Tuesday, February 19. Russians attacked most of all in eastern Ukraine, namely in the Novopavlivka and Avdiivka directions. This is evidenced by the data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reports UNN.
Over the last day, 67 combat engagements were registered. In total, the enemy launched 3 missile and 62 air strikes, fired 64 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

Russians attacked three times in the Kupyansk sector. Unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces took place near Synkivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Liman sector, our defenders repelled eight enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, Russians tested the strength of Ukrainian positions 6 times. In particular, the invaders attacked near Predtechyno, Klishchiyivka and Bila Hora in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled the enemy 18 times. Here, the Russian army, supported by aviation, stormed the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhayne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russians conducted four assaults under air cover. According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a Russian proxies were sent near Staromayorske, Donetsk region.
In the Kherson sector, Tuesday was also not without attacks. The Russians tried once to break through the positions of our troops on the left bank of the Dnipro, but failed and retreated.

On Tuesday, Ukrainian Defense Forces aviation hit six Russian positions with enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.
The missile and artillery units destroyed two Russian ammunition depots and one enemy electronic warfare device.
