The 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton, was hospitalized with a high fever. Due to the infection, the 78-year-old politician was taken to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

According to the newspaper, there is currently no threat to the life of the former White House owner. According to Clinton's spokesman, Angel Urena, there is “nothing out of the ordinary” in this situation, and the hospitalization was necessary for examination and determination of treatment. 

The former president is “in good spirits and grateful for the help provided by the medical staff”.
