Taylor Swift has officially become a billionaire with a net worth of $1.1 billion, making her the first musician to achieve billionaire status solely through songwriting and performing.

Rumors that pop star Taylor Swift is a dollar billionaire were confirmed by Forbes on Tuesday. The American superstar became one of the new members of the so-called "Three Comma Club," whose name means three commas when you write a billion in numbers, UNN reports

The United States is once again the country with the largest number of billionaire citizens, with a record 813 citizens.

China is in second place with 473 billionaires.
