Today, April 17 is Fire Protection Day in Ukraine and World Hemophilia Day, reports UNN.

This professional holiday was established by a presidential decree in 2013, "taking into account the significant contribution of employees of the fire protection of Ukraine to the fight against fire, protecting the lives and health of people, property from fires, in support of the initiative of public associations and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine".

Fire protection workers celebrate their professional holiday twice a year: September 17 – together with other employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES of Ukraine) on the Rescuer's Day, and April 17 – on the Day of Fire Protection of Ukraine.

World Hemophilia Day
