Fighters of "Azov" defeated the offensive of two Russian armies and a tank division, video

On July 22, Russian occupiers, with the forces of the 8th and 41st armies, as well as the 90th tank division, carried out an assault in the area of responsibility of the 1st corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". The assault was repelled, 7 tanks, 6 armored fighting vehicles, 1 "Grad" multiple rocket launcher, and 1 "Tornado-S" multiple rocket launcher were destroyed.
Fighters of the 1st Corps "Azov" of the National Guard of Ukraine, together with adjacent units of the Defense Forces, defeated the offensive of two Russian armies and a tank division. This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Azov Corps and the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko.

As the commander of the NGU stated, on July 22, the occupiers, with the forces of the 8th and 41st armies, as well as the 90th Tank Division, attempted an assault in the area of responsibility of the 1st Corps of the NGU "Azov", involving dozens of units of armored and light vehicles.
The enemy assault was repelled thanks to the units of the 1st Corps of the NGU "Azov", the Special Operations Center "A" of the SBU, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, including the main department of unmanned systems "Phoenix", units of the National Guard of Ukraine, and units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
As a result of the skillful actions of all involved units under the command of the 1st Corps of the NGU "Azov", the following were destroyed by means of barrel artillery, MLRS, and attack UAVs:
- 7 tanks;
- 6 armored fighting vehicles;
- 1 BM-21 "Grad" MLRS;
- 1 "Tornado-S" MLRS;
- 3 units of special equipment;
- 47 units of light vehicles.
123 occupiers were killed, another 29 were wounded. The mechanized assault was repelled. A modern Russian MLRS "Tornado-S", which was used to support assault operations, was also destroyed.
Reminder
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of an early warning radar, an ammunition depot, UAV control points, and other enemy military objects.
