During the investigation of the suspect's laptop, FBI officers discovered that on July 6, he was looking for information about how far away Lee Harvey Oswald was when he shot and killed then-U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963.
In addition, two hours before Trump's speech, the suspect explored the area with a drone: he flew about 200 meters from the stage. The drone stayed in the air for about 11 minutes, and according to investigators, the suspect watched the live broadcast on his phone.
