Exchange rates for June 18: the dollar rose slightly, while the euro fell a bit

The NBU set the dollar rate at 44.80 UAH, while the euro decreased to 51.93 UAH. In banks, the average selling rate for the dollar is 45.07 UAH, and for the euro — 52.40 UAH.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia at 44.8064 UAH/USD for today, weakening the national currency by 2 kopecks over the day, UNN reports, citing NBU data.
The NBU also set the official exchange rate of the euro against the hryvnia for June 18 at 51.9306 UAH/EUR, strengthening the hryvnia by 1 kopeck over the day.
According to data from specialized websites as of Thursday morning:
- In banks, the dollar is trading at an average rate of 44.60 UAH for buying and 45.07 UAH for selling; the euro is at 51.73 UAH and 52.40 UAH, respectively;
- In exchange offices, the dollar is trading at an average rate of 44.85 UAH for buying and 44.95 UAH for selling; the euro is at 52.20 UAH and 52.37 UAH, respectively.
