Evacuation in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove: how many children remain in the communities

There are still 17 thousand people in Pokrovske community and about 700-800 in Kurakhove. Over the past day, 214 people and 10 children were evacuated from the front line, while the enemy continues to massively shell the region.
Evacuation of the population from the dangerous areas continues in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove communities in Donetsk Oblast. In Pokrovsk, 11 thousand people remain, including 49 children, and in Kurakhove - 700-800 people. The head of Donetsk RMA Vadym Filashkin said this during a telethon, UNN reports.

"Today, 17 thousand people and 246 children remain in the Pokrovske community. There are 11 thousand people and 49 children in Pokrovsk. As for Kurakhove, 1300 people remain in the community and about 700-800 people in the town. All children have been taken out. Over the past day, we have evacuated 214 people and 10 children from the frontline," said Filashkin.
According to him, no forced evacuation is announced, it is only for children and families with children.
He said that there were cases when, after the evacuation, families with children returned home by detours, thus putting them in danger.

The enemy continues shelling Donetsk region - 3,334 attacks on the frontline and residential areas were registered over the last day alone. Seven localities came under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Yampil, Andriivka, Bohatyr and Dachne. A total of 25 civilian objects, including 19 residential buildings, were damaged, according to the police of Donetsk region, and listed:
- In Dachne, Russian troops opened artillery fire, wounding a civilian and damaging a private house.
- A drone strike damaged a playground in Pokrovsk.
- In Druzhkivka, the enemy conducted three air strikes with UMPB D-30SN bombs, which damaged the industrial area.
- In Andriivka, a FAB-250 bomb destroyed 10 private houses and damaged a car.
- Yampil was shelled with Smerch multiple rocket launchers, damaging 8 private houses.
In addition, it was found that 8 apartment buildings were damaged in Myrnohrad as a result of a bomb attack on November 11, according to the regional police.
