Due to heavy rains and the flow of water through the Dnipro reservoirs, flooding of floodplains and low-lying areas of rivers in the upper reaches of the Kremenchuk reservoir is expected in Cherkasy region in the coming days.
Recently, due to the rise in water levels in Cherkasy region , floodplains and low-lying riverine areas in the upper reaches of the Kremenchuk reservoir may be flooded. The head of the Cherkasy RMA, Ihor Taburets, warned about this in his Telegram channel, UNN reports .

According to him, the first level of danger has been declared - yellow.
In the next few days, as a result of water flowing through the Dnipro reservoirs cascade and heavy rains, floodplains and low-lying riverine areas in the upper reaches of the Kremenchuk reservoir may be flooded
It is noted that currently a rapid increase in the water level within Khreshchatyk of the Moshnivska territorial community is recorded. Currently, no flooding of private houses has been recorded.
At the same time, the RMA contains information about the amount of water that will be supplied from the Kyiv reservoir and the Desna in the near future.
Mobile teams are working to monitor the situation and respond quickly in case of a direct threat to the population. According to experts, we do not expect the scale and consequences of last year's floods
