According to him, given the failures of European leaders in achieving peace under the Minsk agreements, now the entire burden lies on Trump.
The question is whether he will be decisive enough to do it - because here in Europe we are neighbors with Russian aggression against Ukraine, and it is important that peace is fair and lasting," - said Duda.
He also expressed hope that the project of a huge US military base in Poland will become a reality.
"We discussed strengthening the American presence in Poland, and I mentioned the idea of creating a huge base of American troops. Then we called it "Fort Trump". I still hope that this idea will be implemented," - said the Polish leader.
