Drones attacked an oil depot and substation in the Volgograd region of Russia, causing fires that were quickly extinguished without interrupting power supply.
At night, drones attacked an oil depot in Russia's Volgograd region, causing flames at a substation, Governor Andrey Bocharov said, UNN reports .

"Last night, on July 9, air defense and electronic warfare forces stopped a UAV attack in the Volgograd region. As a result of the fall of the UAV wreckage, fires broke out at a substation in Frolovo and an oil depot in Kalach-on-Don. The fire at the substation was promptly extinguished and power supply was not interrupted," the governor said in a comment posted on the regional administration's telegram channel.
Firefighters from the regional fire service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the scene of the fire at the oil depot, and there is no threat to residential properties.
