Traffic at the Shehyni checkpoint has increased: 700 trucks are queuing up after the blockade was lifted. Polish farmers lifted the blockade of the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint on December 24.
The unblocked Shehyni checkpoint has seen an increase in the number of trucks crossing the border in recent days , including those entering Ukraine. This was reported to UNN by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko.
"The Shehyni checkpoint is known to be unblocked. On December 24, the blocking action stopped on the territory of Poland. Over the past few days, we have seen an increase in the number of trucks crossing the border, including those entering Ukraine. Of course, there is still a queue, as of this morning there are 700 trucks in front of the Shehyni checkpoint," said Demchenko.

On December 24, Polish farmers ended the blockade of the Medyka-Shehyn checkpoint.
Demchenko reported that slightly more than 3 thousand trucks have gathered in queues in Poland towards the border with Ukraine amid the blockade of Polish carriers . The smallest number of trucks pass through Yagodyn.
