Court extends Roman Hrynkevych's arrest and reduces his bail to UAH 302 million

The Pechersk Court of Kyiv extended the detention of Roman Hrynkevych until January 21, 2025. The bail for the suspect in supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces was reduced to UAH 302 million.
Today, the Pechersk Court of Kyiv extended the detention of Roman Hrynkevych, who is suspected of supplying low-quality clothing to the Armed Forces, until January 21, 2025, and reduced the bail to UAH 302 million. This was reported to Suspilne by the suspect's lawyer, UNN reports.
Earlier, on November 26, the Shevchenkivskyi Court of Kyiv extended the detention of Roman Hrynkevych's father, Ihor Hrynkevych, until January 24 and set him bail at UAH 298,258,000.
On October 21, the State Bureau of Investigation announced the completion of a pre-trial investigation against Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych and members of a criminal organization, including his son Roman, who supplied low-quality military clothing for the needs of the Armed Forces worth more than UAH 1 billion.

In November , the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended until December 26 the custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 360 million for Roman Hrynkevych, a suspect in the case of UAH 1 billion worth of clothing for the Armed Forces.

On January 17, the State Bureau of Investigation served suspicion notices to a Lviv businessman, one of the largest suppliers to the Ministry of Defense, and members of a criminal organization in a case involving UAH 1 billion worth of clothing for the Armed Forces. In particular, it concerns Ihor Hrynkevych and his son Roman.
On January 18, the son of Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych, Roman Hrynkevych , was put on the wanted list. On January 22, it became known that Roman Hrynkevych was detained in Odesa while trying to leave the country.
Subsequently, the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv remanded Roman Hrynkevych in custody until March 17 and set bail at over UAH 500 million.
