Adjusted enemy strikes on Kyiv: three more Russian agents detained, one of whom is a citizen of the Russian Federation
Kyiv • UNN
Three Russian agents, including a citizen of the Russian Federation, who were adjusting air strikes on the capital, have been detained in Kyiv. They collected data on defense factories and the consequences of missile strikes.

The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) neutralized another agent group of Russian military intelligence (better known as GRU) in Kyiv. As a result of comprehensive measures, three enemy accomplices were detained, one of whom is a citizen of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the SSU press service, writes UNN.
As the investigation established, the main task of the attackers was to adjust the air strikes of the Rashists on the capital of Ukraine. The main targets of the enemy were defense factories and warehouses with weapons and ammunition of the Defense Forces.
Details
According to the case materials, the agents acted separately, but "closed" on one curator - a GRU employee, whose identity has already been identified by SSU counterintelligence.
Law enforcement officers established that the detained Russian spy lived in Ukraine in a "waiting mode," and after the start of the full-scale war, he was "activated" by the military intelligence of the Russian Federation.
To adjust enemy fire, the Russian set up an observation post on the roof of a Kyiv high-rise building. To gain access to the building's "observation deck," the agent used friendly relations with a representative of one of the local condominiums, who had keys to all technical premises.
The other two defendants are current and former employees of Ukrainian defense companies. One of them collected information about the consequences of enemy missile strikes, the number of employees at factories, repair bases, etc. The other "blindly" questioned his former colleagues about the locations of potential targets.
SSU counterintelligence documented the agents' crimes and detained them. During searches, computer equipment and mobile phones with agent "reports" were seized from the defendants. A quadcopter was also seized, which one of the agents planned to use to spy on defense facilities from the air.
SSU investigators informed the detainees of suspicion in accordance with the crimes committed under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Art. 111 (treason committed under martial law);
- Part 3 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law);
- Parts 1, 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Two of the attackers are in custody without the right to bail. Regarding the third defendant, a petition for the election of a preventive measure has been sent to the court.
