The contractor will start construction of the metro to Vynohradar in October at its own expense. KCSA will pay for the work only after the state expert review and confirmation of its quality.
In the capital, construction of the metro to Vynohradar will begin in October. The contracting company will perform the work at its own expense, and only after a state examination and confirmation of its quality will payment be made. Ruslan Kandybor, director of the KCSA transport infrastructure department, said this on one of the Ukrainian TV channels, UNN reports.
We hope to start work this year and reach the full-scale construction in 2025. Our main criteria for selecting a contractor was that the contractor performs the work at its own expense. Only after that, when the work is completed, they provide certificates of completion, which must be checked by a state expert, which will confirm the quality of the work
According to Kandybor, payment will be made only after the examination and verification of the quality of the work performed.
Our contract does not provide for advance payments, no prepayments.... We will pay the money after the work is completed and checked by the deja vu expert... In October , the active phase of work will begin
In December of 23rd, Kyiv Metro terminated the contract with Kyivmetrobud for the extension of the Syretsko-Pecherska line due to violations of the deadlines, despite investments of 4 billion hryvnias.
In May of this year, Kyiv Metro announced a tender worth almost 14 billion hryvnias to continue construction of the Syretsko-Pecherska metro line in the direction of the Vynohradar residential area.
On August 15, it became known that Kyiv Metro signed an agreement to continue the construction of the Syretsko-Pecherska line in the direction of Vynohradar with Avtostrada Group for more than UAH 13 billion.
