China and Brazil have prepared a 6-point plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. According to Beijing, more than 110 countries have responded positively to this initiative, which provides for a peace conference.

In the spring, China and Brazil prepared a six-point communiqué on Ukraine, which envisages a peace conference that would be recognized by both Kyiv and Moscow. It is noted that last week, on July 29, the Chinese government's special representative for Eurasian affairs, Li Hui, visited Brazil. During his talks with advisers to the Brazilian president and deputy foreign minister, the parties exchanged views on the Ukrainian crisis.

In particular, Li Hui noted that the current war between Russia and Ukraine is still ongoing, and the priority is to "cool down" the situation.

In May of this year , China and Brazil published a joint communiqué on Ukraine.   In the document, the countries formulated six points that, in their opinion, will help resolve the "Ukrainian crisis."

In addition, China and Brazil call on "all parties" to adhere to three principles of de-escalation, namely the prohibition to expand the battlefield, to escalate the situation on the frontline, and to avoid provocations. 

The PRC, together with Brazil, also stated that they support an international peace conference "recognized by both Russia and Ukraine, with equal participation of all parties, as well as honest discussion of all peace plans.
