Three explosions occurred in a densely populated area of Chernihiv, damaging buildings, cars and infrastructure.
In Chernihiv, after a rocket attack, Russian forces partially cut off communications, including electricity and gas, acting Chernihiv Mayor Oleksandr Lomako said during a telethon on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"At 9 o'clock ... three explosions occurred in the city. (...) A direct hit to a social infrastructure building. (...) The buildings nearby were damaged, many cars in the area, infrastructure were damaged. (...) This is a densely populated area," the acting mayor said.
We cut off all communications, electricity and gas in the area to prevent even more destruction
According to him, "it is clear that there will be problems in this area for some time, but we are doing everything to fix it as quickly as possible.
"The main task now is the search operation, the victims, the injured, and to provide assistance to all people as quickly as possible," he emphasized.
