Beta testing for online divorce launches in "Diia"

Diia has launched beta testing for online divorce without visiting the Civil Registry Office (DRATS). The procedure involves a video conference and delivery of the certificate by mail within Ukraine.
The "Diia" portal has announced a call for participants to beta-test a new service for dissolving marriages within the app. The service is intended to allow the entire procedure to be completed remotely—from filing the application to receiving the certificate by mail. This was reported by the "Diia" public services platform, according to UNN.

"Life changes. And if you and your partner have already made the decision to dissolve your marriage, make it simpler—help test the new service in Diia," the post reads.
According to available data, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on a service that will allow the entire process to be completed online. Specifically, users will be able to file an application, join a video conference without visiting the Civil Registry Office (DRACS), and receive a marriage dissolution certificate via mail through Diia.
"Each partner needs to fill out a form to participate in the beta testing. After registration, we will send an email with further instructions to the specified email address. After the application is submitted, there will be a mandatory waiting period, followed by a video conference and the state registration of the marriage dissolution," the post states.
Adult citizens of Ukraine can join the testing if they have:
- a verified RNOKPP (Taxpayer ID);
- an ID card or biometric passport in Diia;
- a marriage record in Diia;
- no common minor children.
Furthermore, the marriage dissolution certificate will be delivered only within Ukraine and must be handed to the recipient in person.
