HACC has reduced the bail for former Naftogaz head Andriy Kobolyev from 80 to 50 million hryvnias. A portion of the funds will be returned to the bailor.

The High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the defense counsel for the former Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andriy Kobolyev, and reduced the defendant's bail from 80 million UAH to 50 million UAH. This was reported by the HACC press service, according to UNN

Today, April 30, a panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court partially granted the motion of the defense counsel for the former Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and changed the defendant's bail amount from 80 million UAH to 50 million UAH

The HACC also partially granted the motion of the bailor and returned part of the bail paid by the company for the defendant in the amount of 30 million UAH. 

"The ruling enters into legal force from the moment of announcement and is not subject to separate appeal," the HACC added. 

From the case materials, it is known that this refers to Andriy Kobolyev.

On January 19, 2023, the former Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andriy Kobolyev, was notified of suspicion of abusing his official position by ensuring the payment of bonuses to himself exceeding the maximum allowable limit by more than 229 million UAH.
