Bad weather is raging in the south of Odesa region: Keeper talks about eliminating the consequences of deteriorating weather conditions

The storm has hit Odesa region, causing power and transportation disruptions, with critical facilities relying on generators and increased patrols for security. Resilience centers are assisting citizens; cleanup efforts continue as the storm moves north.
The head of Odesa Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper spoke about the deterioration of weather conditions in the south of Odesa region and the elimination of the consequences of the bad weather, UNN reports.

According to Kiper, the weather is raging in Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky districts.
"Critical infrastructure facilities are operating normally, the Unbreakable Points are being deployed in the districts, and auxiliary equipment is on the roads," he added.
In particular, in Bolhrad district, traffic is blocked on the T-16-06 road, from Bolhrad to M-15. Buses operating on suburban routes have stopped running.
"Hospitals in the district are working in the normal mode. There is electricity. Generators are ready. The Artsyzsk Primary Healthcare Center is working online. The roads are being cleared, and doctors can leave if necessary. Snowplows and all necessary services are working in an enhanced mode on the highways and local roads of the district's communities. If necessary, mobile steadfastness points will be deployed to help drivers on the roads," Kiper wrote, adding that the number of patrols to regulate traffic and ensure road safety has been increased for the period of deteriorating weather conditions.

"As for Izmail district, there are 41 invincibility points in its communities, which are provided with electricity and the Internet," Kiper informs, "You can charge your phone and warm up, there are rooms for mothers and children, bathrooms, etc.", he adds.

Roads are being cleared: M-15 on the sections of Izmail-Reni, Izmail-s.Kyrnychky, as well as T-16-31, T-16-06, T-16-42, local roads Vasylivka-Kamianka, Shevchenkove-Myrne-Desantne, Kilia-Chervonyi Yar. On the territory of the Safianivka community, there is a dangerous section (descent and ascent).
In turn, out of 16 territorial communities, 2 communities in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district have electricity. Three communities have partial electricity supply, and 11 communities have no electricity supply.
There are no problems with water and heat supply. Hospitals are working in the normal mode.
On the highway R-72, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi - Starokozache checkpoint, H-33 Odesa-Monashi, M-15 Odesa-Reni, special equipment is clearing.
An accident occurs on the 66th km of the M-15 highway, a heavy truck with grain overturned. The road surface is currently being cleared of grain.
A part of the highway from Saratov to Odesa is temporarily closed.
