Russia is achieving small military victories in Ukraine at the cost of huge resources, but Ukraine remains confident in defending its homeland, receiving constant ammunition and aid.

Russia manages to partially win small military victories in Ukraine. However, they  are investing huge resources for the sake of the pieces of land they are seizing. This was stated by the head of the US Department of Defense Lloyd Austin during a briefing following a meeting of the Ramstein-20 contact group, UNN reports.

"As for a potential breakthrough by Russia, we have seen that yes,  Russia is partially succeeding in winning small military victories. They are putting huge resources for the sake of those pieces of land that they are seizing. My colleagues, as well as the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, are confident that they will be able to defend their homeland in the future. Yes, they need ammunition, they need help to continue their defense," Austin said.

Austin notedthat the Pentagon  will hope that another aid package for Ukraine will be adopted soon.
