President Zelenskyy reported on the discussion of logistical challenges and Russian strikes on Odesa at a meeting of the Staff. He expects the government to provide a list of measures to diversify export routes.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that during the meeting of the Staff they discussed logistical challenges, Russian strikes on Odesa and the region, on port infrastructure and the maritime corridor. The head of state expects to receive from the government next week a clear list of measures that will ensure the diversification of export routes, reports UNN.
We discussed in detail the logistical challenges, Russian strikes on Odesa and the region, on port infrastructure and the maritime corridor. Reports were given by the relevant structures: the Ukrainian Navy – Oleksiy Neizhpapa, the GUR – Oleh Ivashchenko, the Government of Ukraine – Serhiy Koretskyi. The Prime Minister reported on work with partners in our region who can expand cross-border cooperation with Ukraine. I am grateful to neighboring countries for their readiness to really help. I expect to receive from the government next week a clear list of measures that will ensure the diversification of export routes
According to him, effective cooperation on grain exports, on ensuring normal logistics – is a contribution to global food security and countering the unfolding cost-of-living crisis in countries and regions bordering Europe, in particular in the Middle East and North African countries. Any social unrest there due to a possible increase in food prices, in general the cost of living, will mean new significant risks for Europe.
Each such crisis in regions adjacent to Europe provokes additional migration waves. Therefore, real guarantee of food security and protection from Russian terror against the agricultural sector and maritime trade routes is a direct interest of all of us in Europe
