According to the publication, on March 15, a FAB-500 aerial bomb "abnormally discharged" from a Russian aircraft in the occupied village of Luhanske near Debaltseve in the Donetsk region.

The munition fell in a garden near a private house on Artema Street and narrowly missed the residence. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.

The publication notes that in 2025, Russia lost at least 143 aerial bombs over its own territory and occupied regions, and in 2024, there were at least 165 such cases.

Journalists attribute such incidents to the use of modernized aerial bombs with UMPK kits, which allow them to be launched from a long distance; however, due to technical problems, some of the munitions fall before reaching the target.
