From February 24, 2022, to November 25, 2023, russian troops damaged or destroyed 863 objects of Ukraine's cultural heritage, including 23 completely.

For the period from February 24 February 2022 to November 25, 2023, Russian invaders damaged or or destroyed 863 cultural heritage sites in Ukraine.

This was reported by UNN with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy.

The ICIP continues to record damage to cultural heritage sites in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression. During the period from February 24, 2022 to November 25, 2023, 863 cultural heritage sites were destroyed or damaged

, the report says. 

As noted, since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, 23 monuments, 663 monuments have been partially damaged; 177 sites are also reported to have been damaged, the extent of which of damage remains unknown.

Among the 863 objects of of cultural heritage that were damaged or destroyed, 119 were monuments of of national importance, 674 of local importance, and 70 newly discovered.

In particular, monuments of architecture make up 276 objects, architecture and urban planning - 252, history - 200, architecture, history - 33, monumental art - 19, urban planning, monumental art - 17, archeology - 18, architecture and urban planning, history - 38, urban planning - 5,  science and technology - 2, gardening and park art - 1, architecture and urban planning, monumental art - 1, architecture, monumental art - 1.
