Zelenskyy noted that he had signed a decree appointing an ombudsman to protect the rights of our soldiers and military family members.
"Olha Reshetylova, a well-known Ukrainian human rights activist, will now be preparing a draft law on the military ombudsman - we need to create such an institution. And it's not just one person - we need systematic work, so that the ombudsman has an apparatus, all the real opportunities to influence the situation and help," Zelensky emphasized.
According to him, it is very important that every soldier feels that it is really possible to ask for and receive support.
"The military ombudsman should build the right kind of system with the participation of our soldiers and ask them directly about it. And we do this on the Army+ platform. We are launching a survey on the military ombudsman, and I ask each of our soldiers and officers to tell us what their priorities should be," Zelenskyy summarized.
