Russian troops are deploying reinforcements, including paratroopers, to strengthen their positions near Maryinka and Chasovyi Yar in Donetsk region.
The Russian occupation army is trying to strengthen its positions near Mariinka and Chasovyi Yar, so it is bringing reinforcements there. This was stated by the adviser to the mayor Petro Andriushchenko on the air of "We are Ukraine", reports UNN.
In particular, according to him, Russian paratroopers are arriving in Chasovyi Yar.
We see airborne units coming in and then taking part in the assault on Chasovyi Yar. That is, we can see through Mariupol that the priority for today is the north of Donetsk region. Partial movements towards Zaporizhzhya region continue, these are ammunition and fuel tankers, but their systematic nature does not coincide with what we see from the north
Earlier, the commander of the Achilles drone battalion, Yuriy Fedorenko, said that the Russian occupation forces do not plan to abandon their attempt to capture Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region by May 9. According to him, the Russians' tasks remain unchanged, namely "to fulfill the order of dictator Putin and occupy Chasiv Yar by May 9.
