Specialists from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine identified an Nvidia Jetson Orin computer module in a new Russian S-71 "Monochrome" cruise missile. The use of this component may indicate that artificial intelligence technologies are being employed in the missile. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, writes UNN.

Military intelligence publishes new data in the "Components in Weapons" section of the War&Sanctions portal — concerning 35 electronic components identified in weapons samples used by the Russians.

Among them:

  • components of a passive radar seeker, which Russia has begun installing on Geran-2 UAVs to detect and strike the surface-to-air missile systems and radar stations of Ukraine’s Defense Forces;
    • a Chinese Honpho TS130C-01 camera from a Geran-4 jet-powered UAV;
      • components of the active homing seeker of the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile.

        Specialists from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine and colleagues from Ukrainian research institutions continue to study Russian weapons and determine the origin of their electronic component base.

        This data helps Ukraine and its partners identify critically important foreign technologies used in Russian weapons and strengthen measures to block their supply to russia.

        The two-year experience of operating the War&Sanctions portal shows that russia is still unable to fully replace foreign high-tech components with its own equivalents.

        The discovery of Nvidia Jetson in a new Russian missile once again demonstrates the need to intensify sanctions pressure and coordinate the efforts of the civilized world
