Almost 500 settlements in the western regions of Ukraine are without power supply due to bad weather. At the same time, there are no planned outages. This was reported on Saturday by the Ministry of Energy, UNN writes.

Weather conditions have deteriorated significantly in the western regions of Ukraine. Due to heavy snow and wind, 497 settlements are without electricity. Most of them are in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Khmelnytsky regions. Emergency and restoration teams are working in an enhanced mode (134 teams, 185 units of equipment are in operation), the ministry said.
Due to the fighting and technical problems, 441 settlements are reportedly without electricity.

On the morning of December 2, bad weather led to power outages in 357 settlements in four regions, with travel on main roads being provided.
